112 Metate is a 2-bedroom 1-bath vintage cabin, just about a block and a half from Dan Dee Cabins on a side street in the Upper Canyon. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING, NO PET CABIN. It is about 600 sq. ft. and has a fully equipped kitchen with a dinette area, bathroom with shower, a living room with wood -burning fireplace, heater, and ceiling fan. It has basic cable TV with a VCR player. It is similar in age and construction to the cabins on our property, but the kitchen and bath have recently been remodeled. It has a queen bed and a king bed. The bedrooms are separated from each other by a wall, but only separated from the living room by curtains. There is a single size sofa bed in the living room, so it will sleep a maximum of 5. It has a front sitting porch with a propane barbeque.

The standard nightly rate is $109-$144 plus tax for up to 4 guests (Winter Holidays $165). All other terms and policies listed on the Dan Dee Cabins website www.dandeecabins.com apply.

Bowdon Family Home is a great two-story, 2200 sq. ft., 3-bedroom 2-bath home (not a cabin) located on a wooded hillside lot a few blocks off Mechem about 2 ½ miles from Dan Dee Cabins. The living room, kitchen, dinette, 2 bedrooms, and 1 full bath are on the entry level. The 3rd bedroom, 2nd full bath, and a large playroom with a pool table are downstairs.

This home comfortably sleeps 8 with 3 queen beds and a queen sofa bed. All bedding and bath towels are provided. There is a 25” TV with satellite in the living room. The kitchen has an electric stove/oven/microwave, full size refrigerator w/icemaker, coffee maker, toaster, crock-pot, pots and pans, dinnerware and utensils, eating bar and dinette table. It has central heat, 2 wood-burning fireplaces (living room and playroom), a swamp cooler, and ceiling fans. There is a full size washer and dryer in a laundry closet off the playroom. The upstairs deck has an outdoor table and chairs, a propane barbeque (propane provided), a charcoal barbeque, and a view through the valley to the mountains. There is also a picnic table on the property under the trees.

There is room to park 3 or 4 vehicles on the gravel drive at the front of the property. As always, 4-wheel drive or tire chains are recommended in the winter. Guests in this home will need to obtain their own wood for the fireplaces, charcoal for the barbeque, kitchen paper products, and laundry supplies. Daily maid service is not provided. Guests are requested to smoke outside, weather permitting, and dispose of all smoking materials in a safe manner. There is a dumpster across the street for household trash disposal. A metal can is provided for fireplace/barbeque debris which must NEVER be put in the trash dumpster.

The standard nightly rate is $215 per night plus tax for up to 6 guests, $245 per night plus tax for 7-8 guests. (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving $255/285) (Winter Holidays $295/325). Additional guests may be allowed only with approval from the owner and will increase the nightly rate. (Children 3 years old or younger are not included when counting guests.) In addition to the nightly rate, there is a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100 for any stay. Rental of this property requires a deposit by credit/debit card and a minimum stay of 2 nights. Longer minimums are required for certain holidays and special events. Cancellation policies, discounts, and minimum stays as listed on the Dan Dee Cabins website www.dandeecabins.com apply.

Check-in time is 3PM or later, and check-out time is 11AM or earlier. On arrival, guests must come to the Dan Dee Cabins office to register and pay. Keys and a map to the property will be provided. When departing, guests are to call Dan Dee Cabins or return the keys to our office. If the home is not left in acceptable condition, an additional cleaning fee of up to $100 will be charged to the card number used to make the reservation. Guests are responsible for the cost of repair for damage caused by any member of their party.

119 Juniper is a 2-bedroom 1-bath traditional cabin about a 1½ miles from Dan Dee Cabins. It is on a small wooded lot in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks off Mechem. It is about 700 sq. ft. and has a fully equipped kitchen with a dinette table, bathroom with shower over tub, living room with wood-burning fireplace, central heat, window A/C unit, and ceiling fans in each room. It also has a washer and dryer in the kitchen and basic cable TV in the living room. It has a queen bed and a full bed. There is a queen sofabed in the living room so it will sleep up to 6. There is a roomy deck on the front and side of the house with a propane barbeque. There is parking at the front of the property for 1 or 2 vehicles.

The standard nightly rate is $139 to $164 plus tax for up to 4 guests. (Winter Holidays $185) There is an additional charge of $10 per night plus tax for extra guests up to the maximum of 6. All other Dan Dee Cabins terms and policies apply.
